David Helfgott is one of the most instantly recognisable classical music artists in the world today. After a lifetime of personal challenge, his success comes as no surprise to his legion of devoted admirers everywhere who have long regarded his recitals as transcending mere music making. In a very special Llewellyn Hall appearance he gives his world famous performances of works by Chopin, Liszt and Rachmaninov, music iconically linked with David throughout his legendary career.
This special afternoon recital is part of the Lived Experience Showcase 2019, an annual symposium highlighting those who draw on their own experiences of ill health to challenge systems.
