Llewellyn Hall
The Canberra International Music Festival

A tumbling commotion of musicians and acrobats collide in an explosive collaboration of contemporary circus and music from the English Baroque.

The Canberra International Music Festival is proud to announce a major special event on the eve of its 25th anniversary, presenting the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra, in its first Canberra appearance, joined by the spectacular C!RCA.

The Festival will present the world premiere of English Baroque with C!RCA, a new chapter in ABO and C!RCA’s celebrated melding of virtuoso Baroque music and stunning contemporary circus.

A feast for the senses. A moment to marvel at the heights of human physical performance. A spectacular that must be seen to be believed. A fitting start to a fabulous festival.

PROGRAM

An inspired pasticcio by Paul Dyer and Yaron Lifschitz with music from 16th and 17th-century England will have you gripping your seat and gasping in awe. This perfect combination of Circa acrobats and Brandenburg musicians, with the beautiful voice of Jane Sheldon, will have you spellbound from the first note to the last.
