It’s that time of the year again. Around Australia and all over the globe, choirs and orchestras are preparing for the much anticipated Christmas event, Handel’s immortal oratorio, Messiah, one of the best known and most loved works in the choral repertoire.
The Canberra Choral Society will perform Handel’s Messiah on Saturday 23 November in Llewellyn Hall, with a massed choir, a handpicked orchestra and stunning soloists, under the baton of dynamic maestro, Roland Peelman.
Don’t miss this one night only performance and your opportunity, according to tradition, to join in singing the famous Hallelujah chorus, as we lift the rafters to bring in the Christmas season with this glorious work.
