Workshops and masterclasses, lunchtime concert, afternoon concert, and an evening showcase concert to round out the day
On 2 October the ANU School of Music will be opening the doors to the world-renowned Keyboard Institute’s Historic Instrument Collection for a full day of workshops, masterclasses, talks, tours, and other opportunities to get up close and learn more about some of the most exciting and rare historic keyboard instruments in the country.
The ANU School of Music is proud to have custodianship of the largest accessible and playable historic keyboard collection in the southern hemisphere, and it is a pleasure to be able to share it with you during this annual showcase event.
This year’s events are the product of an exciting partnership between the ANU School of Music and our Industry Partners Pinchgut Opera and the University of Sydney. And we are very happy to welcome special guests Erin Helyard (featured soloist) and Carey Beebe (the maker of our featured harpsichord).
